We Celebrate The Creator
Since 2012, DFW Africa Festival has proudly shared some of the ancestral life and voice from African descendants cultures from Africa and Diaspora community. Join us on September 28th-29th, 2019, as we drum up a lot of excitement, entertainment and fun at Irving Mall, Irving, Texas for another milestone themed the Motherland Connection Expo 2019.
Plans for this year includes The Multicultural Community Businesses, Leaders, NGO’s, Government Representatives, Traders, Tours and Travel Planners, Cultural Museum Exhibitors, Performing Artists, Taste of African cuisine Luncheon/Dinner Gala, African Freedom rally on May 25 and after festival activities during the 3 day nights.
There also will be vendors and enterpreauner with unique goods for purchase, as well as international, local and regional artists and artisans who will showcase their works for purchase. International, regional and local performing artists will entertain the attending crowds.
This was probley one of the best times that I have had in a very long time. So much to do, very organized and I love to see our African people succeed in the unity that was exemplified today! Will be back again next year!
Did not know what to expect until my roommate brought me to African Festival event. I must say, this was amazing. All of the outfits, the talent, I am very glad I came. Looking to hopefully bring my friends next time.
Awesome! Truely an amazing experience to hear the bands, the food the fun. I really appreciated the experience that I have witnessed here. Looking forward to the next event.

Music brings us together in celebration
DFW Africa Festival- Wild Africa Live, is weekend of family fun event featuring culture diversity of Africa. The festival highlights African arts, clothing, dance, music, food, Hakuna Matata Kids Village, Kishwahili language workshop, Africa tours and travel information center and many activities, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for families and children.
Festival location is 15 minutes on the outskirts of downtown Dallas and Fort Worth cities. There are limited camping available inside the festival Ground. It is 60 acres of wooded freedom, Primitive camping (RVs welcome).
